GoodAsGould
Well its Half-Time and so far im very unimpressed by both teams. The Raiders arent nearly as impressive on offense as they should be and keep running even when its not getting them anywhere. Most teams like the Bears like to run the ball to open up the passing game well when you got 3 great WR's and only an avg. RB maybe they should do it the other way around.... On defense the Raiders have 8 guys back and the Patriots are finding WR's not just open but wide open which is just kind of pathetic. For the Patriots they dug themselves in a hole a little by just letting the Raiders practically walk in for an opening drive TD. On offense they have been able to pass because their receivers are practically wide open but their run game has been non-existant. I'd prefer if they'd switch divisions though.
GoodAsGould
Idonno they didnt really impress me much... I just think Oakland is really bad coached team right now and their secondary is a joke... And they didnt use their WR's like they should of. They didn't play their best game but they didn't have to. They're going to be right back in the superbowl imo, I wish they'd just go away but they won't. I doubt the Pats challenge the Dolphins for the 4th place title this year.

Rememeber, this is just the Raiders they are playing. A team that won a whopping 5 games last year. Lets not just heap the praise on the Pats yet. There is a long season yet to be played. No telling what could happen.

GoodAsGould
From what I saw in that game Id consider the Pats a borderline playoff team. Even though they won big it wasnt that good of a game. The Raiders definitely dissapointed me though.... They got 3 great WR's need to learn how to use them. AirScott
QUOTE(Jordan4life_2005 @ Sep 9, 2005 -> 01:20 AM) All I know is Kerry Collins got me 21 points today in fantasy. he'll be a good fantasy QB, luckily for you his 18-40 doesn't count for much. anybody notice how Belichick just started with a 3-man rush, and Collins couldn't do a damn thing with 8 men in coverage? plus it didn't help that he was just forcing it to Moss no matter the double, triple, or sometimes quadruple coverage. see the play in the 4th inside the 20, he threw it to Moss, and immediatly 4 Pats formed a wall and Moss stepped out at the 6? his last TD pass was to a receiver behind Moss, and 3 DBs committed to him and left 83 wide open in the back of the end-zone. GoodAsGould
Exactly the beauty of Moss is he gets the other WR's open because he demands so much attention. If they ran 3 WR plays with Moss, Porter, and Curry one of those 3 would of been open most of the time... instead a lot of times they only had 1 WR and like 2 max. Yeah but they wouldnt need to block long with those 3.....Whatevr the case if thats the Oakland team that we are going to see they should start looking for a new head coach.
