You dont walk a guy with nobody on and two out. I dont care if his name is Baby Ruthe

Yes, you do if the guy behind him isn't Babe Ruth. It's called strategy. Or if he's the reigning AL MVP.

But about Buehrle, do you guys think Ozzie's afraid to pul him before he finishes 6 innings, even tho the streak is technically over?

I'll be at the Oakland/Charger game @ Oakland next month.  Another good rivalry but not as good as Raiders/Chiefs.

yeah, back when Bo Jackson and Marcus Allen were on the Raiders, the Raiders used to be my favorite team, I was like 5 at the time and then I switched over to the Chiefs because they had a player with the same first name as me, Derrick Thomas. Then Marcus came over and that sealed the deal, I was a Chiefs fan. Had I been a few years older I would've realized that rivalry between the two teams and would've never switched over. But I didn't really know it at the time.

It's still against baseball's unwritten "rulebook."

It takes balls to put the lead run on base.

w/ 2 outs and Benji Molina on deck? Smartest decision Oz has made all year :P

haven't ya heard of the unwritten rulebook.

play to tie at home, win on road.

don't bunt to break up a no hitter.

never put the lead run on base purposely, etc.

p.s. now watch the angels make us pay

for the 2 out walk.

Why not bunt to break up a no-hitter? Why not put the lead run on if you can get the next guy? The bottom line is W - anything else doesn't matter.

This is the game right here; they score, we lose.

We proved last night we got no comeback punch anymore these days.

S-o-o-o-o-o true! How many games first half did we come from behind to win? Lots. That hasn't happened much the second half. :drink I can only hope that by learning to battle early and hard, we get a little tougher.
