3E8
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 01:06 PM) Not a good decision to swing at the first pitch, but it was a strike he swung at and you know he could sit dead red on it. Oh well, they worked Colon that inning, too bad they only got one run to show for it. That looked up out of the zone?

3E8
HAHAHA did you see that "imaginary" strike zone? It extended into the left handed batters box!
Greg The Bull Luzinski
Arow swinging at the first pitch aside, the sox had about five outs that inning and probably should not have scored. We just got some calls that Colon should have got. I also think Rex Hudler would sound more pleasant with parts of him being crushed in a garlic press. Chisoxfn
QUOTE(3E8 @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 10:07 AM) That looked up out of the zone? It was definately not a good pitch to swing at, but it wasn't awful. I dont' think it would of been called a strike, and its not a pitch you want to swing at when your talking about Colon (high heat). However, with the bases loaded, even though he's walked 3 guys, I understand the idea of swinging 1st pitch. You know damn well your getting a fastball. Problem was he didn't get one that he could hit.

nitetrain8601
Pods has to be the worst guy when it comes to running after the baseball. He runs like something is stuck up his ass and it doesn't look like he runs full speed ahead anymore.
Guest JimH
I love this site, I can always tell if the Sox did something good or bad when I can't watch the game. All I need to do is see who posted last, and draw my own conclusions!!

Greg The Bull Luzinski
This game is over. Can't win with B-team offense of Timo, Everett, and Crede.
CWSGuy406
Timo, maybe next time if Colon throws at eye level, you might want to not swing at it. Oh, nevermind, there wasn't a RISP, so it's okay that he made an out. Edited September 10, 2005 by CWSGuy406

Dick Allen
Considering the White Sox never came back from a 2 run deficit the entire month of August, its a little disheartening the #1,#2, and #3 pitchers in the rotation have each blown a 2 run lead on consecutive days.
