elrockinMT
I would like to see Borchard starting in place of Carl for a couple games. Let's see what Joe B has learned from this demotion to the minors. Maybe next year we have him and/or Anderson up rather than Everett and a couple others. That sounds like any opponent against the Twins, yet the Twins win still.

elrockinMT
Problem for this team all year has been it's failure to consistently hit with runners in scoring position.
Flash Tizzle
QUOTE(Ozzie Montana @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 02:04 PM) How good are garland's chances at the cy young award now? I hope after today Ozzie finds a spot in the rotation for BMac. Forget about including Garland in the Cy-Young discussion. He wet himself. Our team is good for having Cy-Young candidates fold down the stretch. Might as well give McCarthy an opportunity. Need a boost from someone--hopefully he'll continue his success. elrockinMT
2 nice innings from Bajhah. If Jon had been able to show a pair and Sanders not pitvch we would still be in this game.
Ozzie Montana
QUOTE(elrockinMT @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 03:18 PM) Problem for this team all year has been it's failure to consistently hit with runners in scoring position. Add to that the most consistent problem of the starting pitching (God knows there's not many) is that when we score a run they give it right back. elrockinMT
Good job by Joe B to get that double on a full count. The hit on him before was the K in those situations.

Whitewashed in '05
UGH!! We better get a good pitching performance tomorrow because Jon sucked today. Bench Carls ass too while your at it. elrockinMT
QUOTE(Sox Hustler @ Sep 10, 2005 -> 08:31 PM) UGH!! We better get a good pitching performance tomorrow because Jon sucked today. Bench Carls ass too while your at it. They better hope Indians lose today and pick up the game tomorrow so they won't get swept. :puke The problem as I see it is we are having to start hoping for too many things to happen for this team to click in and clinch. If we are not careful the Tribe just might be here. I hope our players start stepping up and get themselves primed for playoff competition. We sure haven't seen it this series. Flash Tizzle
Looks like we found out today who the real men were. One pitcher pitched himself out of trouble and solidified his Cy-Young resume. Another wet himself and couldn't help his team after a devastating loss. Can anyone seriously hold faith in Garland/Buehlre shutting down a playoff team? I'm weary of either holding a LA/OAK/NYY/BOS to less than 3 runs.
