White Sox Josh
I think he is. In fact before tonights game he wasn't having a terrible 2nd half.

Sheesh Enjoy the damn season and stop complaining There's a difference between being in a bad time and losing against every team. Buehrle's bad times seem to happen when he faces the better ballclubs. I think there is a direct correlation. It's not a bad time for Buehrle, he's simply getting beat by and good club he faces. He feasts on the Royals and Tigers of the MLB, but I wouldn't feel to confident in him facing guys like Vlad in the playoffs.

So people who says he can't beat good teams. Au Contrear my friend.
White Sox Josh
In fact Colon has an 8.44 ERA against the Yankees a 5.54 ERA against Boston So Mark's splits against contenders are actually better than Colon's.

You don't have to shoot down every poll. Obviously people are voting. So their is interest . If you don't like it, Don't vote. BTW I voted ace. He was good enough to start the all star game . He is having a tough spell right now , at the end of the year he will have an overall, good year. Don't forget he is still very young in age. He is one of the top 5 contenders for CY (even though he has no chance) . That is ace material imo. I talked to a few people at the sox tailgate in june, I think I remember all of us agreeing he is a strong # 2 but not an ace. I have to change my stance on that. Jordan4life_2007
I haven't read this whole thread. But if an ace is somebody who can shut down the piss poor line-ups while getting rocked by any above average line-up, then yes, Buehrle is one heck of an ace. White Sox Josh
well im glad that Jon Garland pitched a gem today against a great team. anybody who says that Garland is better than Buehrle is a moron.
