greasywheels121
I was telling people I was getting nervous that it could happen this week. But you know what? Oh f***ing well. If you've looked at my posts, I wasn't all that excited about the undefeated season. I want the Super Bowl; hopefully people can stop talking about all that other stuff now. greasywheels121
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Dec 18, 2005 -> 04:20 PM) So do the Colts sit some of there starters next week? Playoffs in fantasy start, and im going against a guy with Peyton as QB... They'll still play, but they won't be playing past the half, I'd imagine. They don't have any reason at all to risk injury now. However, it's still too early to rest people for entire games.
whitesoxfan101
Sorry to any Colts fans here btw, it's just the Burner is the man. *Puts on Burner for Heisman T Shirt and Burner jerseys* Oh, and this means nothing for the Colts. It's about the rings, and yes the Colts will rest everybody next week now, don't want to show their potential Super Bowl opponents anything. DukeNukeEm
Peyton Manning will take about 30 snaps total over the rest of the season. Theyre not playing for anything anymore.

I never got too caught up in the hype. I laughed when the sport shows were saying the Colts had more on the line today than the Chargers did during the week. Some reason I never thought we could get both. I thought we'd go 16-0 and CHOKE in the playoffs. Or we have the chance to get the Super Bowl. I never felt that we could do it all. whitesoxfan101
This loss for the Colts is like the Illinois loss at Ohio State last year. Kinda hurts, but in the long run, means nothing at all.
Fotop
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Dec 18, 2005 -> 04:29 PM) This loss for the Colts is like the Illinois loss at Ohio State last year. Kinda hurts, but in the long run, means nothing at all. I don't know how you could say that...I mean that win keeps the Chargers in the playoff hunt. Since they're the only team to beat the Colts this year, in the dome on top of it, don't you think it means SOMETHING? The Colts had a chance to probably knock out their biggest opposition in the AFC today and they blew it. So i guess in the long run, this means plenty seeing as though they may have to play the Chargers again on an even bigger stage.
DukeNukeEm
This means something. The Bolts arent a bad team.. this was no fluke, the Bolts looked like the better team. Colts arent invincible like they were being made out to be. The Patriots have hit thier stride at the right time.. I dont care if its in a dome, if those 2 play each other the Colts wont win. whitesoxfan101
I can't decide what was better. 1. Chad Johnson catches a TD....then just looks around confused, saying "what do i do" before handing the ball to a confused looking ref. 2. The Bengals fans in Detroit all booing the celebration. 3. The Lions fan in a shirt that says "Detroit Lions: Rebuilding since 1957".
whitesoxfan101
Vikings looked awfully good today. It's amazing what happens when you play a real NFL team.
Chisoxfn
This should make up for my USC/UCLA prediction. For a good amount of time this year, one of the statements I've long made is that the Bolts would take out the Colts either in the regular season or post-season. I didn't say when, but I said it would happen. I think the Chargers match up well with the Colts. A healthy Steelers team does as well, as does Jacksonville (with Leftwich). Cinncy could make it interesting in the playoffs as well, but there defense is bad and Rudi isn't LT.
Chisoxfn
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Dec 18, 2005 -> 02:08 PM) Vikings looked awfully good today. It's amazing what happens when you play a real NFL team. The Steelers are looking great. They are definately a team to reckon with in the playoffs, although they definately aren't locks anymore (although they got an easy finish of the schedule). Chargers still have the Chiefs and I believe the Broncos'. Jags should be in good shape too (although right now they are beatable with Gerrad at the helm). whitesoxfan101
I think it's becoming more and more clear by the week that the NFC is just incredibly inferior to the AFC. The AFC is pretty darn good, and the NFC is incredibly horrid.
