Did anyone else attempt to buy tix on TicketMaster at noon today?

I did, and it was probably the most miserable experience of my life; especially when I looked at alternative sources such as StubHub, Craigs List, eBay, etc...

I was utterly disappointed when my requests for tickets on TicketMaster were denied and I got the red text informing me that no tickets were available for the event I was requesting. Bulls***...there are tons of tickets, just not for people like me. A person that is truly interested in going to the game, as opposed to the greedy low lifes (probably cubs fans that are trying to salvage a miserable season) that buy the tickets and then turn around a minute later to sell them for double, triple or quadruple the price.

Sure, some may call it entreprenurship or exploiting the market but these are also the same people that have turned sports from a game into a business. People that have proably never been on a team or have never felt the thrill of winning a game. These people only care about money and themselves, thats it!

Someone asked me today, "So, how many tickets are you going to buy? How many are you going to sell?" Unbelievable, I WAS going to buy 4, 1 for me, 1 for my dad and 2 for my friends, but that obviously didn't work out. The concept of purchasing tickets that I wasn't actually going to use is completely foreign to me and in my personal opinion 100% wrong.

PLEASE, STOP THE MADNESS!!!

~Distressed fan, looking to vent.

P.S To all you servants of the devil selling tickets on eBay, StubHub, Craigs List or likewis I have one thing to say... :finger

I feel your "pain", but I think the team hears it loud and clear! The way they lost the last 2 games in the last 24 hrs, they might not even make it to the playoffs!
