S720
QUOTE(S720 @ Sep 16, 2005 -> 09:48 PM) A walk-in run right now, and have Iguchi take a whack at it! Man, Pods is really bad right now!

Balta1701
Well...they're still loaded, and Pods beat out a throw. Better than the double play I guess. COME ON TAD! Here comes Nathan.

BFirebird
QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 16, 2005 -> 08:47 PM) I said in 1998 that Bonds and R. Henderson were the two greatest players of my generation. Since then, Bonds has had a pretty good run! However, I would say that ARod and Pujols are the two greatest players so far in the next generation of players. Henderson is another guy that was worth the price of admission. No one liked Rickey more than Rickey did but a hell of a ballplayer. And Arod may end up being the best ever, Pujols right behind him. Balta1701
QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 16, 2005 -> 07:50 PM) We never come close to hitting Nathan. Pods had to try and hit that ball in the air. All we need is a fly ball or a ball hit to the right hand side. That's it. Of course, AJ is at 3rd isn't he. Damn.

BFirebird
QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Sep 16, 2005 -> 08:50 PM) But he's hitting .360 in September. People have to take him for what he is. He isn't Grady Sizemore and for that matter he isn't even Kenny Lofton. He is an OBP guy who usually plays a pretty decent left field. As far as all these caught stealing, I don't think he is fully healthy yet.
