Balta1701
QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 05:33 PM) Well, this would require our first 2 run deficit comeback in nearly 50 games. I think it's safe to say we're due.

Balta1701
3rd strikeout in 2 innings. Not terrible on that part...just need to keep the ball from getting hit.
fathom
QUOTE(CWSOX45 @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 12:35 AM) This offense really does suck. I dont know why Walker is still around. CWSOX45 This has more to do with our 9 million dollar pitcher having an ERA approaching 4.75 in the 2nd half of the season.
S720
I can't believe Freddie is pitching like s***! What the hell is going on with him? Damn it Freddie! Buckle up and shut down the Indians NOW!

CWSOX45
QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 06:36 PM) This has more to do with our 9 million dollar pitcher having an ERA approaching 4.75 in the 2nd half of the season. Yeah but our offense is to blame as well. It has been nearly non existant for the past 2 months. Minus the streak where we won 7 in a row.

CWSOX45
If a Major League Offense can't score 3 runs a game, I'm sorry that's just pathetic. Granted Freddy needs to get his head outta his ass. I just hope we can come back.... CWSOX45
The Ginger Kid
I think Freddy just got pissed off. Finally. He MUST challenge these f***s. They've made their run against a soft schedule. You cannot let them get ahead in the count. Attack, attack, attack.
Milkman delivers
QUOTE(S720 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 08:36 PM) I can't believe Freddie is pitching like s***! What the hell is going on with him? Damn it Freddie! Buckle up and shut down the Indians NOW! You can't believe it? Freddy doesn't try unless he feels like it. He must not have felt like it today. And he always gets hit around in the first few innings.

fathom
QUOTE(CWSOX45 @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 12:37 AM) Yeah but our offense is to blame as well. It has been nearly non existant for the past 2 months. Minus the streak where we won 7 in a row. Our offense has been non existent basically all season. This team is where they're at because of the starting pitching. RARELY has this offense picked up the starting pitching. I wonder how many games we've won this year where our pitching allowed 5 or more runs. This is why we're an awful match-up vs these Indians now. They're swinging the bats so well, that we can't outslug them.
Balta1701
All right guys...except for Konerko we did a decent job of making Millwood work last inning...let's keep that up this inning. Be patient...he started this game off doing a lot of nibbling around the strike zone.
CYGarland
QUOTE(CWSOX45 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 05:37 PM) Yeah but our offense is to blame as well. It has been nearly non existant for the past 2 months. Minus the streak where we won 7 in a row. Our offense has been pretty much non-existent all year. Our pitching carried us, and now there faltering a bit. Buehrle and Garcia, need to get there s*** together soon.
