joeynach
On theme in my history class at college is that History represents trends, trends repeat, and the old saying Histroy Repets itself comes to be. So the question is will History repeat itself for the sox tonight. If we think back to absolute crucial series late in the year for the sox in 2003 and 2004 we have what we have tonite. In 2003 it was on the road in Minny when we got swept and blew the lead in the division which we shorty captured. Last year it was earlier (cuz of injuries) when we also got swept by Minny at home at the end of july after we had made a strong push, the jamie burke collision series. Interesting stat of the night is that tonight is about sold out, no where near for tue and wed, are 40,000 fans waiting to see if History really does repeat? Heres to sox making new history tonight and this week... ! GO SOX!!! Edited September 19, 2005 by joeynach

Tell your History proffesor that "history repeats" because people notice when history repeats more than that realize that history doesn't repeat. Its like when you buy a new car, and then notice a lot more of that same car on the street. You just weren't looking at it before. History doesn't repeat. Buehrle>Wood
Did anyone find that odd that the first response was a double post? I mean, I found that downright scary. Edited September 19, 2005 by Buehrle>Wood

For instance WWI ended with a treaty that at the time everyone beleive would prevent another world ware forever, we all know how that turned out.
