Joe Crede >>> Jeff Abbot

I think I went about as crazy now as I did when Abbot hit that one.  Of course I went crazy 2 years ago when Frank creamed Everyday Eddie's pitch out of the park for the win.

Ya i went crazy for abbot and was at the Frank game and this ranks right up there

OH MY f***ING GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BELIEVE IN THE RALLY CREDE!!! EVERYONE BETTER HAS THIS AVATAR FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is for you Joe...

Where have all the good men gone

And where are all the gods?

Where's the street-wise Hercules

To fight the rising odds?

Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?

Late at night toss and turn and dream of what I need

[Chorus]

I need a hero

I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night

He's gotta be strong

And he's gotta be fast

And he's gotta be fresh from the fight

I need a hero

I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light

He's gotta be sure

And it's gotta be soon

And he's gotta be larger than life

Somewhere after midnight

In my wildest fantasy

Somewhere just beyond my reach

There's someone reaching back for me

Racing on the thunder and rising with the heat

It's gonna take a superman to sweep me off my feet

[Chorus]

Up where the mountains meet the heavens above

Out where the lightning splits the sea

I would swear that there's someone somewhere

Watching me

Through the wind and the chill and the rain

And the storm and the flood

I can feel his approach

Like the fire in my blood

[Chorus]

f*** YEAH! WE HAVE A TEAM SONG AND A NEW TEAM MASCOT!!!!

And before Frank's I believe slumping Paul Konerko hit a 2 out home run in the bottom of the 9th to tie it.

Ya, that was just a sick game. Sox have had a few moments where I got my hopes up for nothing.

But not this time...not this time. BELIEVE

Mandatory for all Soxtalkers to have the Rally Crede, you gotta believe.

I'm in...and I believe in the Crede. And I believe in Aaron Rowand. And Jenks will be a post-season monster...when we face ARod, Sheffield and Giambi...Ortiz, Ramirez and Varitek...and Anderson, Guerrero and Molina.

Don't screw this up, Ozzie.

Those are the 3 most important walkoffs we've had in recent years, with Carlos Lee and Jose Valentin's homers vs the Cubs being big ones also. However, tonight's homer was easily the most important homer in a long, long time for the Sox. I don't want to think what the morale of the team would have been if they lost this game.
