i don't think we will.  this season is a total failure.  from reinsdorf all the way down the list.  the sox got complacent.  they did nothing to improve themselves and now they are paying for it.  and the excuse that no one wanted to trade with them won't cut it.  they'll trade if you meet their price.  but are you saying "Wait till next year?"  you sure you're not wearing blue and red?

This team did more to improve itself by not meeting people's price than it would have by doing so. By not meeting people's prices, we got ourselves a cheap potential #1 starter and a 100 mph closer.

Scott Elarton?

We are lucky we didn't get swept this series.

We just can't get anything going at all.

We better sweep Minnie somehow cause the Tribe again is going to dust away KC.

Sweeping the Twins is impossible. Literally. Santana must die between now and tomorrow night for us to have a chance at sweeping them.

Matt Lawton won the game for the Yankees tonight. He was available at the deadline for a minimal cost. Now, I'm not saying we should have gone after him, but there were some players available. However, KW went after the two superstars, KG Jr. and Huff.

Please don't take this as an attack, but as a genuine question: where would Lawton actually play? Who would he be an upgrade over (aside from Timo, of course)
