spiderman
Well, I've heard/read it a few times now..I think if the White Sox play .500 ball the rest of the way out, Boston has to go 8-2 just to tie us...So, in the spirit of thinking positive, it would seem nearly impossible for us not to at least make the playoffs. The Critic
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 23, 2005 -> 04:45 PM) Jesus. Returning. And batting 3rd. That's about it. Frank Thomas is done for the year....
southsider2k5
QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 23, 2005 -> 05:39 PM) If that Crede homer didn't lift them, I don't know what can. Read between the lines there. It isn't about swinging for the fences, that is the problem. We need to get this team stringing together hits, so that they don't feel they have to swing for the fences w RISP. Put continual pressure on a team, instead of one swing and done. BigSqwert
QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Sep 23, 2005 -> 03:59 PM) I think we should all be prepared for a series in Cleveland that these two teams enter tied. One thing I noticed about the Indians, they are very much like us....they aren't as good at home. So lets see, Sox play better on the road....Tribe not as good at home....I like our chances.
