fathom
QUOTE(CYGarland @ Sep 24, 2005 -> 01:22 AM) Why is AJ batting 3rd again? :puke He's not taking very good swings, is he? AJ, Everett, Iguchi, and Rowand are definitely cold. I don't even fault Ozzie for this.
jphat007
Man. thats a pretty good wind. At first I thought they just weren't hitting it well.
Greg Hibbard
the good thing about the wind knocking every ball down is that the twins are gonna have a hard time hitting any home runs
Gene Honda Civic
QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 23, 2005 -> 08:24 PM) He's not taking very good swings, is he? AJ, Everett, Iguchi, and Rowand are definitely cold. I don't even fault Ozzie for this. But you can fault him for not playing the Hot Hand there though... Uribe would have looked great there or at #2 early in the month, and Crede would look good there now.

fathom
Time for Contreras to buckle down. Tyner's a very big batter in this game, as you want to keep the tying run from getting to the plate.

fathom
QUOTE(CYGarland @ Sep 24, 2005 -> 01:29 AM) Thats a good idea. We obviously dont have a #3 hitter, so why not use whoever's hot at the time?? I'm still very confused why he's given Rowand and AJP a try at replacing Everett, but he still hasn't let Dye try. Hell, with all the struggles this team has had on offense, even Iguchi batting 3rd wouldn't be a bad idea. We can no longer play the way we used to with Iguchi trying to get Pods to 3rd base w/less than 2 outs because Pods is struggling getting to 2nd base.
