How do playoff tickets work ?

What if the Indians finish a game back of the Sox(think positive) and the Yankees and Red Sox tie with the exact same record. Talk about a mess, what if the Sox, Indians, Yankees and Red Sox all finish with the exact same record.

 

There would have to be 2 playoffs to decide the division winners and then another game b/w the losers to decide the wild card........................

to add to that, if that were the case, there would must likely have to be another game, between the two winners of the first set of games, to determine who gets home field during the AL playoffs....talk about f***ed up... it would be kinda cool tho, but i hope we win the division in the 162 game season

if we tie the indians the playoff game will be played in cleveland on monday october 3rd after the 3 game set
