BigSqwert
I think it's sad that Dontrelle Willis has a better batting average than our #3 hitter. Will Ozzie ever wake up and put someone else in this slot like Aaron or Jermaine?

The Ginger Kid
QUOTE(GoSox05 @ Sep 23, 2005 -> 01:36 PM) or ross gload even It's too bad he's getting so rusty on the bench, especially with the way he's swung the bat all f'n year. :headshake
The Ginger Kid
QUOTE(rudylaw @ Sep 23, 2005 -> 01:56 PM) Call me crazy but we should go with who is hot. JOE CREDE. I never thought I would say that... Joe Crede the # 3 hitter wow. Why not. El Duque Sucks so we are going with McCarthy in that spot why not pu Big Joe in the 3 hole. Joe Crede It's not crazy at all. The problem is it makes too much sense.
Chisoxfn
Right now I wouldn't falter Uribe or Crede to hit in the 3 spot. Even Jermaine Dye or someone of that nature. If you want to keep Everett in the lineup (cause a hot Everett would make things a lot better) than I don't have a problem with it. Just don't continue to hit him in the 3rd spot. Its a stupid idea. I realize Ozzie wants to have continuity in his lineup and doesn't want to move guys all over the place, but find someone else and ride the hot hand in the 3 spot, let Everett adjust and take a little pressure off him by moving him down in the lineup until he figures things back out. Otherwise, start playing Gload for a week straight and see what he does. We all know he can hit.
