Felix
Again, Boston winning is good in my opinion. I hate the Yankees, so them losing and Boston winning puts New York one step closer to missing the playoffs.

fathom
QUOTE(Felix @ Sep 25, 2005 -> 12:26 AM) Again, Boston winning is good in my opinion. I hate the Yankees, so them losing and Boston winning puts New York one step closer to missing the playoffs. No offense, but lets just root for both of them to lose their next 5 games, and worry about who wins the AL East after the last series. There's nothing good about Boston winning in regards to the White Sox. This post reminded me of one of the posts a few months ago about wanting to lose some games so we were tested at the end of the year or being worried about the A's, etc.
Balta1701
I'll keep saying this...the best thing we can hope for from the AL East is for Boston and NY to finish the season tied...that way neither of their pitching staffs get any rest at all at the end of the year. We at least would get a day or two off.

This post reminded me of one of the posts a few months ago about wanting to lose some games so we were tested at the end of the year or being worried about the A's, etc. Now that they are tied, im rooting for both to lose. Until then...well, we've seen what can happen when you look too far ahead already this year.

Guest JimH
If KC wins one out of four, the White Sox should feel fortunate. KC is awful, especially since Cleveland is making zero mistakes right now.

So if one loses one game, our number goes down to four?
