I got this kid who comes up to me every morning and says like I am retarded and says 'Hey Ross' How you doin...he thinks I am retarded I got somebody who says I am a funny guy to tick me off. SI1020 Posted May 13, 2003 Share Posted May 13, 2003 I don't have time to check my facts, but I believe that the Sox have had a better record than the Cubs in something like 40 of the last 56 baseball seasons. You can go to baseballreference.com and do the research. Chicago as a Cubs town is a post 1984 thing. When I was your age Chicago was definitely a Sox town, and we were much more mature about than today's trendy phonies in their cubbie blue. Stick to your guns, even if it is hard. Years from now you'll be proud that you did. Many "fans" of the cubs can't tell the difference between a baseball, a basketball and a watermelon.
