fathom
QUOTE(RockRaines @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 01:09 AM) apparently you are too lazy to use your brain cells as well. Meaning what? He's shown absolutely no ability to make in-game decisions in the last months, which is when the team needs the manager the most. Yes, he doesn't control what the players do. However, he's in charge of putting the team in the best chance to succeed. He's completely failed this team with that. And with this team continuing to look lethargic, isn't he supposed to be the great motivator?

SoxFanForever
As you know, I have been in this school of thought for a while now. Oz isn't getting the job done.
DonkeyKongerko
Oz isn't getting the job done but few managers available for hire out there would with this lineup. This guy in my avatar will be available next year but I doubt he'd come here anyways.

greg775
It's fate we don't win the damn division. It's not Ozzie's fault fathom. We've won 94 f***ing games. How many do you want him to win?? Cleveland got hot we went in the tank. Deal with it.Geez.
Rex Kickass
Greg the season is 162 games long. If you can't keep your team motivated to finish the job with a 15 game lead, you don't deserve to have yours. Cleveland is hot, but the Sox could at least be tepid and this would be all over. Ozzie has taken us a long way, but if he can't be a closer, we need to send him to the Mets with our last closer - who I also loved to watch. Guest JimH
Well, I disagreed with the Blum decision tonite but wouldn't it make sense to wait to see how this all ends up before starting threads like this? Oh wait, it's fathom and it's SoxTalk. Never mind.
Frankensteiner
Slightly off topic I guess, but has anyone gotten Ozzie's post-game comments tonight. I've scanned a couple of threads and was wondering if they were posted anywhere?
