LowerCaseRepublican
Actually all that information about Bush is true, especially the AWOL stuff. Typical neo-con though. Stick your head up your ass to avoid stuff you don't like. Also, I never said I liked Clinton or Gore. Trust me...I hate Al and Tipper more than anybody, especially for their relationship with the PMRC, the Eagle Forum, and other groups like that. You can ask anybody on this board about my immense hatred for a lot of the Democrats. I do know that when Clinton used to bring in cocaine...so did the CIA to finance the Iran-Contra affair. I call them like I see them, ESPNJohn. From all parties, whomever pulls shady actions, lies to the American public, [ie like Bush does] then I call them on it. ESPNJohn, you promote a strong sense of nationalism [i.e. nobody gets to criticize the government which is oddly becoming more strongly centralized], yet believe in a weak federal state? That makes no f***ing sense at all.
cwsox
Treasonist liberal lies lacking any proof. Swastikas are born from liberal ideas perpetrated by Federal control. Two of more astouding statements ever made ---- liberals = treason? astounding in its corrpuption of the constitution which not only defines what treason is, but establishes a counytry where freedom of thought is the strength of the nation, not an act of treason - It would be far more correct to say that dissent was treason in Nazi Germany, Stalin's USSR. Hussein's Iraq, etc etc etc. And swastikas born from liberal ideas perpetrated by Federal control? That is so ludicrious and anti-historical. That symbol arose from fascism, from nazi-ism, the antithesis of liberalism.
BrandoFan
If we ever get back to community rights in this country, then the teacher won't have to call the secret service next time. All he'll have to do is say "class what do you think of what these 2 just said?" and hopefully he'll let some of them respond in non-verbal ways...on treasonist liberal's skull...pummel the kids talking ill of my el Presidente ROTFLMAO...How Christian of you, psycho. Feeling flashes of nostalgia for good ol' KKK/"community re-education" days, no doubt? CWSOX, Johnny is a neo-religious, nationalist nut from the Troll zone; giving him political history lessons and generally engaging in informed debate is moot because he is living and breathing simplistic RW-GOP propaganda, trust me on this one....If it were up to him, we'd be all living under Holy Bible decrees, not US Code, Constitution, Bill of Rights, etc... Kmack, Rdivaldi, Spirrnoff, Boog, SS2k3 and Bridgepoirt_Joe used to spank his hypocritical, pseudo-intellectual, self-styled libertarian ass with regularity if I recall. And they did it with flair. Good times I tell you. "f**-loving, candy-ass, fascism-endorsing liberal treasonistas? Pure comedy gold I swear...lolololololololololololol Say, isn't it about time you talk about your secondary Law degree......or the Ninja belt at least....Jimmy Smits
espnjohn1
You guys have absolutely no sense of humor whatsoever & definitely need therapy if you take what you read on a sports message board serious. I also think it's completely ridiculous to comment on a person with respect to their real life based on what you read in a message board. That re-defines the word guliability with respect to you & the net. The truth is I love to fight. I admit that. I see it as neither a weakness nor a strength. It just is what it is. See Fight Club. But I'm no bully. So the chances are if a kid was be bullied by another person for whatever reason I would probably get involved & try to defend the kid. It would matter not to me whether he wore an anti-Bush t-shirt. I see any intrusion of the Fed whether it's in honor of nationalism or otherwise as a bad thing. It should protect us from harms way from external & internal enemies, but it should not compromise our freedom to do so. When I say our I mean the "majority" so I am not against profiling where the facts merit a right to do so. I do not think that wearing such a shirt or even making threats is an act of treason. I do however believe the press has taken the liberty to defame, slander, or libel public figures too far. If I wear to suddenly print up a shirt of that kid saying .. he's an idiot, he can sue me for libel. But if he does the same to a public figure he gets away with it. I think that's a double standard that should be curtailed some. The same with the Hazing incident. The main problem with the incident is that the girls don't have respect for the rules of conduct nor the laws of the state. They probably are unaware of both. This is probably what the parents lawyers are going to argue when the plead their case for re-admission into school & file a suit for the embarrassment encurred. This is not an easy case, because whether the superindendant wishes to say that they are required to read & sign the handbook & that's the legal grounds for their knowledge of the rules, it's simply not that easy. The defense can argue that the girls are not literate enough to comprehend the rulebook & such. So as much as I would like to line up the instigators through a spanking machine the reality is that this is a much bigger problem in our country today relating to irresponsibilty & claiming ignorance to escape the consequences of one's actions. I feel Clinton amplified this feeling in his administration. First his "I didn't inhale" defense coming from a Harvard grad must have done wonders for our youth with respect to illicit drugs. Perhaps that's way 20% of all 11-17 yr old boys & girls use them these days. Secondly, his "we didn't have sex" defense, again from a Harvard grad must have done wonders for our youth with respect to oral sex. Both of these defenses reek of irresponsibility & defense through ignorance. I beleive if this is going to stop, it has to stop at the community level first. I'm not adverse to other consequences than time served. They may seem barbaric, but public punishment is certainly no worse than forced sodimy or torture at the ends of inmates in today's prisons. If you doubt that it exists I have a real story to tell you. A friend of my sisters several yrs back was arrested. I forgot what the charges were. We couldn't come up with his bail in time, so he had to spend a night at CCC. When we got him out the next day, he told us how he had to fight for his life all night long from being sodimized. When hearing that in conjunction with all the other prison stories like Oz, Scared Straight, etc. I no longer view time served as a humane form of correction. As for the rest of your post, you do yourself no justice in lying about others. Everyone knows I am a firm advocate that Fed government has no business in legislating morality. None whatsoever. Neither that from the Bible, or a moral relativism either. However; public schools have the responsibility to teach ethics. And those ethics should be reflective of the community that governs that school.
CubKilla
Being a fan of a Chicago team, that should be the last candy ass thing you try to cling to. The fact that he is a fan of any Chicago sporting team is very debatable. Apu likes to use a baseball messageboard as his political bully pulpit. Best thing to do is ignore him. YASNY
First off... let me say that I did not read through this entire thread. I don't often jump in on these political discussions, but I am generally conservative in my views. That being said, I too, like apu, am very concerned about the erosion of our civil liberties. That is something every American has the DUTY to be on the watch for and speak out loud and long when they are being threatened. Do not ever take them for granted. If we do, the next thing we know, they will be gone.

SI1020
http://www.kron.com/Global/story.asp?s=%20%201268949 2 students criticized Bush. The teacher called the Secret Service. You and I have had our share of disagreements but this thing looks real bad. The SS should not have been called in unless the students made a direct threat on the life of the President. The SS has to take all of those seriously. But if they were only being critical of his policies or whatever, then this is supposed to be a free country. I don't have time to look it up, but there was a similar case that happened in Chicago during Clinton's time, when a young couple who tried to question the President, were told to shut up then arrested and spent the nite in Cook County jail. I am not a liberal, but have a very strong liberterian streak and do take notice of such events.
