Gene Honda Civic
QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 07:09 PM) OK white Sox hitters, take notes. -- This is how you get a runner home from second base. I guess Polanco was taking notes from Pods.

Chisoxfn
I'm not near ready to fire Ozzie. Not at all. It ain't his fault this offense can't hit. Sure he's done some things bad from the x's and o's stand point but he's done a lot of good in the clubhouse.
Balta1701
That's a fairly large relief. Please keep him in the ballpark Jose. Just don't let them get the lead yet.
AnthraxFan93
The next manager should have no connections to the Sox organization. This hasn't been a successful franchise, and fresh blood is definitely needed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> First you must start with the GM; who wants to win.. and knows how to build a successful organiztion.. Then the manager will follow.

It definitely seems like a possibility he could go after the Marlins job when it opens. I wouldn't blame him, as the Chicago media is pretty harsh. Y2HH
I believe it IS Greg Walkers fault. He's a remnant of the home run hitting past of this team...and he doesn't fit anymore. Look at what Cleveland did with their first batting coach this year...(I forget his name), but NOTHING...they bombed all year. Fired him, hired a new guy...and BAM went on this run they're on. Sometimes...it IS the coaches...and its Walker to put this on. He has them ALL screwed up.

downstairs
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 07:09 PM) All I know is this, if I were a GM, I'd think long and hard about hiring DJ as a manager. I've long thought he'd be an exceptional candidate. I know a lot of you hate him, but the guy knew how to play the game (he wasn't great) and he's always talking about the suttle things he was taught that the Sox aren't doing. Your what hurts? An idiot is an idiot is an idiot.
