Commander Fisk
QUOTE(Felix @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 08:01 PM) MVP: Paul Konerko. Enough said. AJ Pierzynski is a close runner up for me simply because how he has handled the pitching staff throughout the year. CY Young: I dont really care what you say, but Mark Buehrle. Whether he's been down or up, he's carried the staff (I know I'm going to hear s*** about this one) Most Improved: Jon Garland. Isnt really a question, considering he might have turned his career around. Most Pleasant Surprise: Cliff Politte. Simply dominant out of the pen. Biggest Disappointment: Shingo Takatsu. I was expecting him to have a great year this year, and he ended up being released. I agree with everything you said although I would take Hermanson as my runner-up to Konerko. As much as I liked Shingo, his collapse killed us and without Hermie we would have been screwed.
Stocking
QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 08:11 PM) Dont kill me but Ive thought all along Rowand was on the juice and that has led to his power #s being down I was at the rain delay cubs game last year and was looking at how huge his legs were. Said this past off season that i expected his number to drop off, i think juice as well.

rangercal
QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 10:18 PM) So what your telling me is you have proof OG told KW to sign Dye? Told KW to Trade for Posednik? Sign Dustin Hermanson? Sign Iguchi? Trade for Count? Please, I'd like a link. Nevermind, such a thing doesn't exit. KW built this team through and through. GMAFB! You are telling me that Ozzie was not at all an influence on the blue print of the 2005 chicago white sox?

RX Bandits
QUOTE(Felix @ Sep 28, 2005 -> 09:19 PM) Contreras has 15 wins, and isnt a 5th starter. He's our 4th last time I checked. He was the 5th starter for most of the season and has stepped it up since becoming the 4th starter. I also knew he had 14 or 15 wins I was in a hurry so I did not have to check the stats
Wanne
Most Valuable Player: Paul Konerko (was money most of the year and only constant legitimate threat in the lineup at times). Most Vauable Pitcher: Mark Buehrle (he's the guy you want on the hill in a money game. Jose has been lights out lately and throwing the best...but Buehrle still gets the nod IMO.) Most Improved Player: Jon Garland without a doubt Most Pleasant Surprise: Pollite Best Offseason addition: Damn...AJ,Gooch or Podz...I go AJ just because that position has been stabilized. Biggest Disappointment: Greg Walker. Honestly...just what the f*** does he do?!?
YASNY
I give Ozzie and KW equal credit for the success of this team. They worked together to the extent that they have been on the same page all year, yet each did their respective individual jobs as well. GoSox05
MVP: Timo Perez - just amazing at the plate and the best fielder in the League. Cy Young: Timo Perez - If they let him pitch he would have won 25. Most Improved Player: Timo Perez - gets better every year, next year he will hit .
RockRaines
Its so funny to see you people call Paulie the most consistent player in the lineup. So soon you forget he was flirting with the mendoza line at the beginning of the season and pretty much scratched his way the first half. RockRaines
Do you have proof that he didnt. Please I would like to see a link. I will give you 3 min to come up with it. Fact is they admitted that Ozzie told KW last year how he wanted to change the team. It was even part of his interview when he got the job. It has been well documented that Ozzie had input into the direction the team was going, and the players. IN FACT, KW, during the trading deadline, said that he doesnt know everything in the cubhouse and how players fit, and he would rely on Ozzie for that input. Your hate for Ozzie is fine, but at least try and keep your arguments rational. Thanks
