The Ginger Kid
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 30, 2005 -> 04:25 PM) How much you want to bet Mark's pitching with a hangover? didn't david wells throw a perfect game with a hangover? Nice job, Mark. You can tell Cleveland's tight. And is just me or was that strike zone pretty liberal for Millwood?

elrockinMT
QUOTE(CYGarland @ Sep 30, 2005 -> 11:27 PM) Our hitting is garbage. Yes, but their pitching is more garbage than our hitting... so there!
Rowand44
Nice job Mark. That's the thing I'm watching closest today is Mr. Buehrle to see if he can keep that changeup from sailing up and away to righties, if he can get that pitch back then he'll be his normal self. CYGarland
QUOTE(elrockinMT @ Sep 30, 2005 -> 04:30 PM) Yes, but their pitching is more garbage than our hitting... so there! Maybe. But they have proven they can hit our pitching and I don't want to have to get into a slugfest w/ them. Personally I prefer the Angels. I think our pitching can shut them down, and our offense should be able to score enough runs off them. Not to mention Colon's back is still bothering him, and he's been somewhat inneffective of late. CYGarland
Mark looks REALLY good tonite. With the way JC has pitched, and Garcia yesterday, I'm starting to feel more confident about our chances in the playoffs.............As long as our hitting doesn't completely disappear ala 2000 Edited October 1, 2005 by CYGarland

With the way JC has pitched, and Garcia yesterday, I'm starting to feel more confident about our chances in the playoffs.............As long as our hitting doesn't completely disappear well...they were consistent with RISP tonight. But given the AAA lineup, I'm okay with it.
