Greg The Bull Luzinski
I saw that Black Jack will be doing Sox playoff postgame this year which brought back some memories. Unfortunately, I need a refresher. 1. I remember Black Jack used to be friendly with a 90's rock band. As I recall, he jammed with them on occasion. Who was the band? I seem to think Pearl Jam but I might be wrong. 2. Black Jack's band also include several other major leaguers including another White Sox player. I recall Scott Radinsky, I am right? witesoxfan
QUOTE(SoxPhan7 @ Oct 1, 2005 -> 06:14 PM) I believe the name of the band was "stick figure" QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Oct 1, 2005 -> 08:48 PM) His 1st bands name was 'View' then Stick Figure right I do not believe he was asking the name of Black Jack's band, but rather who McDowell jammed with. Black Jack really couldn't have a band in the early 90s...this pitching thing pretty much got in the way.
WSoxMatt
It was V.I.E.W. yes thanks, now they may have not jammed with PJ but he was definately in a band in the early 90's. I remember you could buy the bands tape at the Comiskey Park Gift Shop!!

I remember Black Jack's band was friendly with a major rock band of the 90's. I was thinking Pearl Jam since they were the most comercially successful, but I might be wrong. Memory gets fuzzy after 10+ years.
Greg The Bull Luzinski
Black Jack and Pearl Jam Link I found it, McDowell is good friends with Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam. Check out the hair on Black Jack.
Middle Buffalo
QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Oct 2, 2005 -> 09:47 AM) Black Jack and Pearl Jam Link I found it, McDowell is good friends with Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam. Check out the hair on Black Jack. Black Jack was with Vedder in New Orleans in the early 90's and his ass beat by a bouncer. I don't remember the reason.
