you should have to put a name on each of the tickets and show up to the park with an ID that matches your ticket

less brokers or assholes looking to get rich will buy tickets then

I am as upset as you are about not getting tickets. But lets think about this here... do you always know who is going to go to the game with you. Your idea is complete far-fetched becasue what if someone backs out last second? are you stuck with a ticket that knowone could use? its a nice idea, but its never gona happen

i tried to get tickets and the wait time was crazy, then the server frooze and i was out of luck. when i finally got through it said it was all sold out. so what i did was call ticketmaster at approx. 1:45 and i talked to a ticketmaster rep. and he searched for tickets for game 1 for me and i explained what happened. somehow he ended up getting me 4 tickets in sec 153 row 18 for game 1. i almost sh*t in my pants when he told me that he was able to get them. he also apologized for the tech. problems that occured. SO i now have 4 great seats for game 1!!!! i can;t wait, lets win friday!

My dad scored two for game 2. He called at 11:55, and just sat on the phone. At 12, somone answered.

I wonder if you called at like 11:40 and kept them on the line asking for ticket information about about other events and then at noon switched over and asked for Sox tix if that would work.

Hey guys, this is an update for anyone who might still be looking for tix to game 1 of the ALCS tomorrow. Since yesterday, brokers have come down in price on tickets. An UD seat that was $225.00 yesterday, is $179.00 today. That's a pretty significant drop. Not sure if you guys want to wait until close to the end of today to see if they go even lower. Just thought I'd pass it along in case anyone was broderline on going through a broker.

Update #17, if any of you guys are still thinking of going through a broker, find one that is based in NYC. Since the Bankees s*** the bed last night, local brokers there are unloading tix like fish off a truck.

I had tix for tonight that I got through a broker, decent UD seats at a good price. I get a message last night from them saying my tix are 'not available'. Needless to say, I was furious.

I call them back this morning and we got upgraded to some pretty sweet LD seats for the same price. :headbang

Everything White Sox related is going too well lately.
