Jordan4life_2007
I heard that Sabathia was just recently on the Best Damn Sports show period and said that he wasn't worried about the White Sox. He said he was worried about the other teams, but not the White Sox. Well, he doesn't have to worry about anybody now. Here's to you C.C. :finger

I just found it funny that he was a such a cocky mofo and now has to sit at home with the rest of them. Well to be fair he never did pitch against us both series and he has been on fire as much if not more than Contreras has been.

The Ginger Kid
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Oct 3, 2005 -> 06:09 AM) Yep, it's quite a list they got going. C.C Sabathia. Dimitri Young. Craig Monroe. ESPN Experts. Don't forget Casey Blake. Kenny Williams made mention of the CC interview on Best Damn after the Sox clinched in Detroit. He was asked whether the Sox would be playing hard in Cleveland and he said something like, after Sabathia said that, you can bet we'll try and sweep. Balance
Sabathia's not a small guy, yet his uniform is about twelve sizes too large. What's up with that?
Buehrle>Wood
Just wondering, may be C.C. meant that as a complement to us, as if they could not catch us.
SpringfieldFan
QUOTE(Antonio Osuna @ Oct 2, 2005 -> 11:28 PM) I don't really mind it. I think his reason for doing it (tribute to his high school team) is legit. What tribute? Did their high school's mascot get killed in a drive-by or something? Was anyone else intrigued by Jenks' appearences against the Tribe? Talk about contrast. First, you have Jenks, a farmboy hoss with a buzzcut hairdo facing Coco and Belliard with their oversized uniforms, dreadlocks, and crooked caps. Two ends of the spectrum right there... Antonio Osuna
What tribute? Did their high school's mascot get killed in a drive-by or something? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> His high school team all wore their caps like that. He's just having fond memories of good times with his friends during his formative years.
