A good friend of mine who's a diehard bosox fan just im'ed me to congratulate me.  I hate the bosox and most of their fans but they do have some classy ones.

All of my friends here are congratulating me, but you better believe (haha, get it?) that they'd be shoving it in my face had the Red Sox won the series or even one game.

Don't know if any of you guys saw this post over there, but I thought it was pretty cool.

"On a side note -- I worked today's game. One of the classiest things I've ever seen -- the White Sox bullpen coach out in right field just after their batting practice was done. That guy handed out balls to the youngest of kids, signed autograph after autograph for anyone who asked, posed for pictures and even put little kids on his shoulder and backed up to the grass so their parents could snap a shot of them. I asked a White Sox fan who he was and they explained it was their bullpen catcher, Man Soo Lee and that he does that at every home game...signing autographs for everyone that asks. Classy guy and, when their team was introduced there was an ovation from the right field stands when Lee was announced.

So, if it can't be for my beloved boys (oh, how I wanted to be in the park for more excitement), then I'm rooting for the White Sox. Go Sox! "

Definitely classy on their part.

Minus a few assholes (woulda probably been the same around here), I checked out the end of their game thread and a lot of their guys were offering congratulations.

I also talked to a friend of mine from Boston, who I met while at FSU, yesterday (DIE-HARD fan who religiously follows them), and he kept telling me that the series was already over...repeatedly congratulating me and wishing me luck. He told me I have no idea how it will feel if we win it all. So yeah, there's definitely some classy Red Sox fans out there.

I'm a SoSHer, and I just wanted to come over and say congrats.  It hurts like hell right now, but you guys outplayed us on every level.  Congrats on a great team, best of luck in the ALCS.  We'll see you next year.

Thanks for the kind words, Jamie.

If I wasn't SO sick of your team, I'd say some kind things about them...lol....

But the congrats I saw on SoSH were very nice.

People over there not too much in love with Theo right now, huh?

When the sting of the sweep wears off you guys will remember that you tasted the ultimate victory last year, and that cannot be taken away.

We haven't felt THAT good yet............YET............
