whitesoxfan99
Tied at 3 right now. Both offenses look absolutely terrible. Mike Brown returns a pick inside the 10 and the Bears have to settle for a field goal. The Bears offense is the suck.

whitesoxfan99
Orton fumbles, the third fumble of the game by our rookies. Benson 1, Bradley 1, and now Orton has 1.

Thomas Jones has been basically the only bright spot on the offense this entire season so far.

And like we've been saying since the draft, thankfully we drafted Benson instead of a WR that could help this team.

I have to declare shananigins on that one. Who the hell would get that wide-out the football? Who? A WR couldn't help this team anymore than say, a power RB or an offensive lineman or a quarterback or f***ing something. At least we'll be front runners in the Leinart sweepstakes. Jesus. This team has a LONG way to go.
fathom
All I know is that this is now 2 straight games where our 2nd receiver has helped the other team more than they've helped the Bears.

Yeah and everyone gave me s*** when I jumped on the Bears for drafting another running back. They do the same s*** every time. They get a high pick and waste it trying to draft the next Walter Payton.
GoodAsGould
QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 08:07 PM) And like we've been saying since the draft, thankfully we drafted Benson instead of a WR that could help this team. Just so you know Mike Williams really hasnt had much of an impact in Detroit and considering he didnt play at all last year probably isnt going to make an impact this season. But still this game was horrible. Thomas Jones had a nice game and all but than when he goes out the coaching staff puts in Peterson? I know he can pass block good but when benson was out there he looked good at blocking and why the hell did we draft him if we will never use him. Its getting ridiculous and there were plenty of impact players who could be helping us right now and they got to figure out what their doing with benson. Another thing that bugged me is the defense not able to finish drives faster. They always seem to give up the 3rd and 5 play.... And the reason they do this is to protect against the big play.... well when they are still getting the big play than at least take away the short.....The defense had so many 3rd and 4,5,and 6's that they could of ended but instead let them have the short pass for a 1st down. Last thing although he didnt do anything to lose the game I cant wait for Grossman to come back. Im not blaming Orton for that fumble that falls in AP's hands who shouldnt of even been in there. But he makes a lot of dumb decisions that Grossman wouldnt make like that int at the end. I like him as a prospect and for a 4th rounder he is amazing but Grossman is better.
