TLAK
QUOTE(beck72 @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 06:52 AM) MLB doesn't want to mess with its money schedule. The only off days are on Thursday and possibly Mon of next week. If they had pushed back the start of the ALCS to Wed, that would mean they'd have to play Wed-sunday w/ no days off. Seeing how Fri-Sun would have the most viewers, no way would MLB have an off day be on Friday night. So they stuck with Thursday being the travel/ off day. It sucks for either the yanks or angels, having to play 4 dyas straight. But it's great news for the Sox. I guess Commisioner FOX has ruled. Dick Allen
QUOTE(GasHeGone @ Oct 9, 2005 -> 09:34 PM) Can they really make the Yankees/Angels go from New York to Los Angeles to Chicago in three days? If so, that's awesome. They should. The network had to have the game yesterday in prime time. If it was an afternoon game they could have gotten back to LA at a reasonable time, and perhaps even played this afternoon. If they push the ALCS back a day it would be to quote Hawk "total BS". Steff
QUOTE(beck72 @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 06:52 AM) MLB doesn't want to mess with its money schedule. MLB doesn't decide. Fox does. That's the benifit of paying billions of $$'s to get the rights.

Punch and Judy Garland
Usually its easy as the secondary game will be on FX or FSN if that area gets it. however, we are in virtually the same market as the Cards. I'm guessing that the whole country will mainly get us while just Missouri and Southern Illinois along with Texas get the Astros/Cards. I guess I'll gear up for an FSN game that way

Plus, she wasn't that hot. Kimber should bring in one of her porn friends.
harwar
I know we get the choice of which game we want to watch(fox or fx)but why broadcast both games at the same time? I wonder if anyone knows why fox doesn't broadcast a day game and a night game. Maybe its the same answer i get to everything from world domination to my local grocery bill .. its all about the money.

bjm676
This is great news. I have tickets for Game 2. Instead of being in limbo as to what day I'll be going, now I know. Even better, I get to see Buehrle pitch. Sec 135, row 14 Edited October 10, 2005 by robinventura23
IlliniKrush
So with both the ALCS and NLCS playing Wednesday, what are the chances we get the night game? I'm assuming they are staggered, as on mlb.com it still has TBA on FOX for both games. I assume Yanks/Sox would be night, but would Angels/Sox push us to the late afternoon game?
