Good to see him gone.  The guy I'm most worried about on their staff is that Santana kid that made are hitters look retarded a couple of months ago.

cough hmmm .... he was great because another diehard went with me to ANA for that game ... we will stay clear this time ... that bud of mine is so psyched out he doesn't even pick up the phone ... just calls me after we clinch. poor guy but like most of us sox fans we truly need abuse counselling ... i am still waiting for us to blow it ... what is the toll free #? 800-SOX-PSYCH?

CHICAGO (AP) -- Injured ace Bartolo Colon was left off the Los Angeles Angels' roster for the AL championship series Tuesday and will not pitch at all against the Chicago White Sox.

A 21-game winner during the regular season, Colon left his start Monday night against the New York Yankees in Game 5 of the AL playoffs after only 23 pitches because of inflammation in his right shoulder.

This is sad news indeed. I would never hope or be greatful for an injury to a key player, even if it helps the Sox. But this no doubt gives the Sox a HUGE advantage in this series. We have to take advantage.
