fathom
So, how will you answer the question we're all sure we'll hear tomorrow: "So, how much did you pay the umpires?" from a Cubs fan. Any suggestions? I was thinking things along the lines of: - the same amount that we paid Bartman to screw you guys in 2003. - the same amount we paid Ronnie Woo Woo to wash our car yesterday - the same amount that we paid the clubhouse attendant to put cork in Sosa's bat - the same amount that Prior and Wood paid for a round of golf yesterday

Chisoxfn
I'm just going to respond...a win is a win, is a win. I've already heard it from Angel fans and all I can say is that Escobar hung it and Crede bashed it. Its a brand new series.

CWSGuy406
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 04:29 AM) I'm just going to respond...a win is a win, is a win. I've already heard it from Angel fans and all I can say is that Escobar hung it and Crede bashed it. Its a brand new series. Yup. Ozuna still had to steal second base. And Crede still had to knock him home. We executed after we were given an opportunity. Let's go to Anahiem and kick some ass.

greg775
Laugh in their face. We won. No apologies. I just hope the Sox handle this the right way and kick ass in Cali.
IlliniKrush
Well, we don't control umps, don't blame us. Plus, that didn't win us the game. And we wouldn't have necessariliy lost if that call is reversed, quite obviously. And tell them a former Cub is pitching Friday - Garland.
