Flingz
I want the sox to win the next few and all but part of me wants the sox to keep losing so we can finally get JM/KW/GW outta here
witesoxfan
Once KW is out of here....we will win more games than we have. Once Gary Ward is out of here....we will be a very good team. Not so sure about Manuel anymore.

idseer
i can't believe manuel is suddenly being thought of as acceptable. this guy stinks, pure and simple. always has ... always will. if he stays this team (and we) will regret it.
Guest hotsoxchick1
ive never had a problem with jm.... he did a good job bringing things together in 98-2000 .. his troubles began the day kw took over..........that will soon come to an end though.... I agree with you 100% idseer. KW may have put this crap together but it is up to JM to teach the fundamentals and mental aspect of the game. Obviously, he can't get through to any of the Sox starters..... and for some time now.

Not to mention, KW had no control over JM during 1998, 1999, the second half of 2000, and the eventual playoff meltdown

Obviously, he can't get through to any of the Sox starters..... and for some time now. I'm with you two. Now if those two get canned and the Sox go on a hot streak, then JM will save his job and I won't really care, but I would like Backman up here. Part of me still believes Manuel could be good, if in fact he hasn't been doing things on his own. Still, too many times he doesn't go with small ball and to me I'd much rather have that kind of guy. I know people say he's a small ball guy, but not enough for me. I love the small ball.
YASNY
I'm really nuetral when it comes to Jerry Manual. I believe KW has taken away any chance that JM had to do a good job. It's time to let JM sail the ship for a while and see if he can keep it afloat.

Can't blame Manuel, Ward, KW, etc. for the third-worst hitting team in the league. These players have to do their jobs, and then the entire organization looks smart. cwsox
These players have to do their jobs, and then the entire organization looks smart. I will agree to that all the way. Our team has its individual and collective heads somewhere, anywhere, but in the game.
