southsider2k5
EEEEEEE-LLLLLLLOOOOOOOOO!!!! GOD THIS GUY RULES. Going into the season who would you have guessed would have been 7-1 with a 2.05 era and who would have been 2-6 with an era of almost 4. And if you say Loiaza at 7-1 you are a LIAR! Winning Ugly
Dude I said 14 wins to end the season. He's on track for what now? 20? 22? I think he'll get at least 17.
Molto
I'm not so sure about at least 17 win. he's gonna have to face teams like the Yanks, BoSox, and the west too. not saying he can't beat good teams, but he's struggled historically against a few of them, plus, it'll be interesting to see how his arm holds up come August and September. we shouldn't be talking about that. right now he's pitching great and keeping us in this thing, let's hope Buehrle, Garland and the offense could come around
rafacosta
Why peolple don't say about Buerhle and his struggles...everybody in here forgot about his comments that he wants to go to Stlouis.

Boy if Mark is trying to impress the St. Louis scouts he sure is going about it in a weird way.

Mark now needs to virtually dominate the rest of this season to make up for lost time.
Soxfest
Sox would be 6-7 games under W/O ELO
Grebeck Fan Club
I thought he was slowing down but last night proved me wrong. At least we have a stopper.
Chisoxfn
Umm, Mark has been just fine. His numbers aren't too far off from what he did last year and the year before. The offense hasn't given him a damn worth of support. How is it that everyone still loves Jose and Frank even though those two aren't producing (At least Frank reaches base). Heck even Maggs isn't doing crap, yet its Buehrle and Jimenez I keep hearing about. Those two are producing imo. Buehrle has been far from perfect though, I admit that, but he isn't a problem. It's not Buerhle's fault Jimenez and Harris leave their gloves in the dugout every time he pitches. And the only thing that Jimenez does is make you assume he's getting on base almost every time he comes to the plate. I wouldn't attribute either pickoff yesterday solely to him--the only thing he's done to irritate me was the Oakland Mystery Pop-up.

You are definately right about Buehrle. The lineup has not given him any support. I would not mind seeing him sent to St. Louis if this season falls apart though. St. Louis's farm system has had better days though. I think a trade to the Mets would be the best idea.
1549
the only thing he's done to irritate me was the Oakland Mystery Pop-up. I remember a game against Detroit when Wil Cordero was playing first and he totally botched a little pop the same way Jimenez did, i feel humiliated watching plays like that.
