i think that statement almost made me cry

Yeah, I'm gonna be honest I was trying to jab Illinois. It's not every decade that Penn St. wins in Champaign.

LOL 4 wins over Iowa in 3 years. Go Cats Go! If only they had beaten f***ing Penn St. at home, oh well. I guess if Illinois couldn't do it it's not that big of a deal lol.

How are your two teams looking for the postseason this year?

If this is a diss I know they both blow. NU has an outside chance of the NIT, but I'm not sure they can be .500 or better by season's end.

I'd be surprised if Mizzou won another game.

The annual Hawkeye collapse at Welsh-Ryan is underway

I can't figure out why they consistantly beat us. This stretch could get really ugly with a game at IU on Saturday and you know IU is gonna be playing hard. IU's been slumping and just got clobbered so my guess is we'll see a much better Indiana and I think we all know how Iowa plays on the road (ie, mediocre).

They lose Saturday and they may find themselves very quickly out of the big 10 race (considering we still have our game @ Illinois and than of course at home against MSU.

Damn it, ticks me off that NU got us yet again.

Northwestern's final 6 possessions yielded 17 points.

They scored 18 points in the first half.

They must loosen the rims in the final minutes of the game there.

Was it just insanely hot shooting for did Iowa lax on defense? Or was it tons of 2nd chance points? I take it you were able to watch it. I guess I should consider myself lucky that it isn't on tv.

The Bulls are looking good though.

We need to somehow pull out a W saturday at tOSU to make up for the PSU loss

It's gonna be a huge huge huge game. How will the team rebound after such a tough loss?

Gotta get a tough road win.

I'm already pumped, got 4 days to go.

And by Saturday i meant Sunday, whoops.

Hopefully Augie's healthy - this is from Tupper's blog:

James Augustine looked like an 80-year-old man when he started walking toward the podium on Wednesday. And that was after Bruce Weber talked about how he’d injured his hand during Saturday’s game against Penn State.

Turns out someone stepped on Augie’s foot at practice on Tuesday, creating a limp that he hopes will be a distant memory come Sunday at Ohio State. He injured his hand about three weeks ago, had it x-rayed, but then banged it during the game Sunday. It’s his right hand, which is the better of the two for an injury considering that he’s a left-handed shooter. But he said he can’t bend it.

It's simple. Alford is a basketball retard.

Vuko is 6'7" or whatever, so we have to guard him with somebody bigger... Brunner. 'Cuz 40 minutes of Greg Brunner playing perimeter defense sounds like a good idea right?

Oh and everything goes in the hoop for NW in the last 4 minutes of the game.

Oh and 1-4 from the free throw line with under a minute left from the Hawks.
