aboz56
Go Minny. We need Iowa to tank so Alford has no shot at the IU job. Here's my new philosophy. Anyone But Alford GO MINNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
whitesoxfan99
Does any team in the country have players who whine and cry to the officials more after being called for a foul than Iowa?
Palehosefan
Texas Tech not quite on the flatline yet. Nice win 70-64 over Nebraska for their 14th win. Gotta win out, home against OU, at Okl. State, at Baylor, home against Texas A&M. It's a possiblity, especially if Jarrius Jackson scores 41 ppg like he did today.
aboz56
QUOTE(whitesoxfan99 @ Feb 18, 2006 -> 05:49 PM) Does any team in the country have players who whine and cry to the officials more after being called for a foul than Iowa? They are representative of their coach. An underachieving whiner who just hasn't gotten it done.
Felix
Can anyone who is watching the Minnesota game on TV tell me how the teams are looking? I know the score thanks to ESPN's gamecast, but that often doesn't tell the whole story.

whitesoxfan101
The mediocrity of the Big 10 continues. 5 losses will get a share of the crown IMO.

AssHatSoxFan
so my dad was all excited to see Iowa lose at Minny but then when I told him Illinois still had to go there he wasn't as happy
IlliniKrush
Well things got more interesting. I'm going to assume we lose at MSU, period, so if we can win out we'll be at 5 losses, meaning at worst tied with Iowa and MSU. Then we'd have to see what OSU and Wisky do. Dick Allen
QUOTE(aboz56 @ Feb 18, 2006 -> 05:33 PM) Here's to a total Iowa collapse so that Alford doesn't get the IU job. Here's to Alford going to Indiana. As an Iowa alum, I don't see this guy being consistenty successful at Iowa. I do think he would be better at Indiana. He probably could recruit Indiana kids to go to IU. I think he's been at Iowa 7 years and the only guy I believe he recruited who has played in the NBA is Reggie Evans, a JUCO transfer. Haluska will probably see time in the NBA, but anyone else on the current roster is doubtful.

aboz56
Does 16-11, 8-8 in the Big 10 get IU in? I think they'll either be 15-12, 7-9 or the record above. Guess their play in the Big 10 Tourney will be the deciding factor.

That slowdown style can allow you to beat teams better than you, but also cause you to lose to teams not as good as you. Double edged sword.
