Oregon by 6 with 2:48 to go. The Ducks, who have rolled in mediocrity and below .500 all season and trailed by 14 with 10 mins to go, have put on an unreal rally to take the lead on the #2 seed and #12 ranked Huskies. Chamberlain Oguchi has 17 points, all scored within a 8 minute blitz in the 2nd half during the main ralley.

I was watching the BYU-Utah game but turned this on because you hyped it up. It better be a good finish. :P

It's official, the hapless Oregon Ducks, who entered this game at 14-17, pull off the upset of Championship Week (so far) with a 84-73 win over #2 seed and #12 ranked Washington. Chamberlin Oguchi leads the rally with 22 points, all scored in Oregon's 54-32 2nd half blitz. Oregon won't have their starting PG Aaron Brooks tomorrow, but with the way they played in the 2nd half, I doubt they care.

The semi's tomorrow are Arizona vs. UCLA and Cal vs. Oregon. That 2nd semi will be fun, as a Cal win gets them into the dance and a Oregon win, amazingly, puts them in a position to play for a spot in the dance.

Utah upsets their in state rivals BYU. BYU and Air Force both suffer upset losses today, and their bubbles have likely popped. San Diego State has a very good record and won the MWC in the regular season, but likely have to win the next 2 games to get a bid. BYU and Air Force losing make the Mountain West all but assured a 1 bid league.

No doubt about that. SDSU is a pretty solid team, they have a clear road now, they should win this thing.

This one is just about done.

Oregon heading to the line with a 78-71 lead, 1 min left.

EDIT: Roy with 30 for U Dub, but is getting no help.  80-73 Oregon with 51 seconds left.

I know Chamberlain hit all the 3's, but Jordan Kent was HUGE as well.

It's official, NCAA is a joke once again. Ohio State gets a slap on the wrist considering the crimes, a 3 year probation period and a loss of 1 basketball scholarship. Of course, it LOOKS tough, but considering what they did it's very little. No postseason bans, and the 1 scholly loss won't affect the Thad 5. If anybody other than one of the main cash cows did this, it would be a death penalty like punishment. *Sighs* man does the NCAA suck, I just wish everybody was treated the same way.

Poor Heads, haha. All I can say is Illinois is the only team that can piss you off as a fan by winning 4 RS conference titles (or co titles) in 6 years, with the reason being if not for 1 point in 2003 (at Wisky) and 2006 (vs. Penn State), it would be 6 straight.

Iowa State football does that. Two years ago we got a trophy after that travashamockery of coaching that cost us a spot as outright North champions and a championshhip game berth.

Our men's sports teams do nothing but turn lemonade into lemons...

As an NIU student, I can tell you I feel your pain there. In 2003, NIU starts 7-0 and #10 in the BCS, ends up finishing 3rd in the MAC West at 9-2 overall and not making a bowl. In 2004, NIU has a trip to the MAC Title game in their hands, and they are embarassed on national T.V. AT HOME against Toledo. In 2005, NIU finally beats Toledo (on the road!) to get to the MAC Title game, and blows a 13 point 4th quarter lead to FREAKING AKRON to lose 31-30 on a 35 yard TD pass with 15 seconds left and miss a bowl. And then yesterday, the MAC West Champs of basketball head into the MAC Tourney with the #2 seed and a bye, fall behind by 21 points with 14 minutes left, come all the way back, and lose by 1.

Well it was definitely a pipe dream, but it kills any hope of it now. Thad was the candidate I wanted most to be the next IU coach. A postseason ban would have been the only way that could have ever really happened.

You know what I just realized. I may be the only person on here that goes to a school that won a national championship whlie they attended said school.

I'm guessing maybe a few OSU people went there when they won a National Championship.

Just had to say this since Fullerton's cinderalla dream ended last night with a last second loss to arch rival Long Beach State.
