I'm just talking about the season as a whole. Sure, IU can make the tourney this year. That doesn't excite me too much. I thought we had the potential to win it all with DJ in this lineup.

CBS was saying the same thing.

However, the loss of White (9.2 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 1.4 blocks) will knock the Hoosiers from the short list of serious NCAA championship contenders. And, yes, Indiana was on that list with White.

Yea Indiana is just so good because of Marco Killingsworth.......please.

two questions:

1) do you know what knowledge is?

2) do you know how to use it?

I still see you guys winning by 5-8.  We have no one that can even think about containing Marco.

See that is the key to beating IU. Don't try and contain Marco. Let him get 30 in the first 30 minutes of the game but defend the hell out of the 3-pt line. By the time there are 10 minutes left, Marco will be out of gas from having to do it all himself and will start to miss shots. So he gets 34 and Illinois still wins.... I think you would take the win, right?

I really think the key is to make Killingsworth work hard to get his points, but to work harder on defending the perimiter. Marco can't go 40 minutes and do it all.

Agreed 100 percent, and that's the strategy I expect the Illini to use, holding Indiana to about 70 points. However, I think the Illini will only be able to score about 60 themselves....

No, no, no, no

They did not just storm the court...

Yeah I know, that's sad. However, Texas is the only real chance to rush the court this year so our fans must have decided to take what they could get with the win over rival Kansas.
