qwerty
Not awfull, but certainly bad. If he pitches well on such a long rest, I'll be amazed. I'm expecting to see Classic Garland tonight -- walks and homers galore. Really nice games by both konerko and garland. Back to back complete games? That is f***ing sick. Antonio Osuna
We just guarenteed a Game 6 in Chicago. Huzzah. Write off tomorrow as a loss; Santana is unhittable. Let's just hope we don't let Byrd beat us twice. Hats off to Garland. I didn't think he had it in him tonight. He clearly did.
Queen Prawn
QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Oct 14, 2005 -> 10:12 PM) Konerko made himself a few million tonight. If he can keep it up, well, let's just say it would be very, very good for the Sox.

sox-r-us
What will all of the national media and the Jim Rome's of the world b**** about tomorrow? Jon Garland was a man among boys. We just took out their best pitcher and won against him. Let's beat Santana and we can finish it off in La La Land against Byrd LET'S GO SOX

You're the only dumbass I ever saw who guaranteed a loss after a big win. Go see if the Red Sucks have an extra slot for ya at their tee time tomorrow. LOSER! Queen Prawn
QUOTE(Felix @ Oct 14, 2005 -> 10:14 PM) We will win tomorrow. Garcia is unhittable on the road, and Santana won't look as good as he did against NY. He gave up 3 runs in 5 innings of relief. Good, but not great. Let's hope Garcia will pull a Buehrle/Garland! I thought the Sox would really have a tough time tonight considering Lackey has been tough on them this year and had really been pitching well, and Garland had an ERA over 7.00 against them this year. This is a huge win. Go out and beat them tomorrow.

Kid Gleason
...just WOW!!! I can't believe this! We are atleast going to get to see them back here again!!! Best case: We see them again at home for game one of the Series! Worst case (as of right now): We see them for game 6!!!
Antonio Osuna
Hey, we won a game on the West Coast. So all bets are off. BUT -- Santana killed us early this season and pitched lights-out against the Yanks. He'll be the best starter we've faced so far in this LCS. What's wonderful (and what I was implying) that this win takes the pressure off tomorow. Sure, 2-2 sucks. But 3-1 would suck much, much more. Queen Prawn
Those announcers were some what irritating when I first tuned in (I was in the car for the first 4 innings). I couldn't believe that with a 5-0 lead that they could say the Sox did not capitalize on the momentum from game 2. :banghead
Rowand44
Garland was unbelievable. Tonight was absolutely huge, we now assure ourselves to go back to chicago if need be and also we got 2 more wins to go with 2 more starts between Jose and Mark. HUGE, HUGE f***IN WIN. :headbang :headbang
