Soxbadger
I can remember when it was vogue to post that we should trade Garland. I always knew he could be this good, the reality is, he can be better. Should of been a shut out, and I hope that the Garland realizes that he was 1 pitch away from that. Harry Chappas
WOW I always liked him. Were any balls even hit hard. WOW
bulokis
What a pitching performance by JON!!!!! He definitely stepped up after being questioned wether he can pitch well tonight after a long lay off.
Dick Allen
QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Oct 14, 2005 -> 09:17 PM) I can remember when it was vogue to post that we should trade Garland. I always knew he could be this good, the reality is, he can be better. Should of been a shut out, and I hope that the Garland realizes that he was 1 pitch away from that. SB KW did trade Garland. He luckily was then rejected by the former ownership of the Angels.
NUKE_CLEVELAND
WHAT GUTS BY JON!!!! He totally dominated the Halos all night except for 1 batter. The whole staff has been lights out since the post season started. I love it!!!!
SnB
this entire staff has shown they have what it takes to get it done so far this postseason, wow.
Milkman delivers
I'm glad that, for once, I layed off of judgment until after a game. Great job, Jon.
Soxbadger
Yeah I always talk about how inept the the Disney ownership was in that respect. I can only imagine how the paths would have changed if we had Erstad and they had Garland. SB
Antonio Osuna
I vaguely remember going to a Garland start in 2000 where he gave up 2 slams in the same inning. This kid has come a long way since then. I didn't believe in him until I saw it, and I must say I'm giddy with joy about being wrong about him. greasywheels121
Hell of a performance by JG tonight. I was a little nervous with the long layoff, but he did not disappoint at all. The Sox pitching's been amazing.

It will be sweet when Jenks and Jon kick some ass this series against the Halos :finger Angels management
sox-r-us
So should KW write a book (Billy Beane style) for: Raping Ed lynch to give up Garland Raping Billy Beane to give up Cotts Raping Colorado management to give up Uribe Raping Mariners GM to give up Garcia Raping Cashman to give up Contreras ---------------------------------------- You know, KW might actually make it to the series with this team, and Beane has never even got there. Texsox
I doubted, I was wrong. He cowboy'd up and kicked ass. Un f***ing believable. This may be the best Sox game in my memory.

Whitewashed in '05
Kudos to JG stepping it up and getting that important #1 road victory. Besides Garland I want to give a HUGE HELL YES! to our SP's thus far and I hope they keep on rolling.
