Correct and if you read what I said, you'd see I said if he has a big postseason ( he has) and a good next year he''d get a year less and three less per year. I think you underestimate how good Scott Boras is. Any other opinions?

I'd offer Crede 3 yrs, 16 million after the season, and hope to see him in his peak years at 3rd base. Even though Crede could possibly get more after next season, he could also make himself a lot less if he hits .220 next year with 16 homers and has more back problems.

Crede will never earn 8+ million a season unless he hits .290+ 30-35 homers and a ops above .900 in his contract year. I do not care who his agent is.
