Single greatest sports moment of my life. The game was freaking awesome. Just finally got home. When the game ended I gave my dad the biggest hug in my life. Shook the hand of a few Angel fans near me and than just starred with my hat on half sideways (after almost throwing it in excitement) for about 5 minutes.

Finally made it down to the dugout and started cheering like hell for 45-50 minutes. Bumped into Trev (Hi8is) during the celebration and was just giving Sox fans all over high 5's. The game was totally awesome, from pre game BP (watching it with Hi8is, Whitesoxmgr, WhiteSoxMurph, CalWSide (Ron)). It was totally sweet. My voice is officially long gone.

Greatest game in my life and I hope it will be topped on Saturday. When we left the stadium first thing I saw was a huge lightning bolt streaking across the sky.

WAY TO GO SOX, WAY TO FREAKING GO!!!!

4 MORE WINS!!!!!

Not in the dugout...in the seats by the dugout. There were at least 3000 of us there all going crazy and cheering for the Sox. Jurassic came out and sprayed the fans with champagne, it was so sweet.

I stayed at home to watch it with my dad and I was so happy, I stood up and jumped around, then I hugged my dad and went outside and screamed!!

It really hit me when I finally heard Rooney's call, I teared up. Also, on Fox News when Cory McPherin (sp?), a life time Southsider and Sox fan brought up his 84 year old dad he got choked up so much he couldn't finish, then when they threw it back to the studio Dane Placko and Robin (last name?) were also choked up and Robin finally said "Hey, we never hid that we're Sox fans, this is sports, we don't have to be neutral"

It was genuine and touching, both the Fox moment and Rooney

My dad is so happy about the White Sox.

He was 15 when they went to the WS last and has been through many years of frustration with the team. I think he's finally happy about the Sox for the first time in well... ever.

My grandpa is up in heaven smiling right now.

This one's for you grandpa!

:crying :cheers :gosox3: :headbang

We might have been separated at birth. My dad turned 60 last year and was 15 last time the Sox made the WS. He and I both have quietly raised a few glasses to Papa who isn't around for the ride this time around. :drink :gosox1:

Some other cool moments from the celebration. In one of the team photos Buehrle hopped onto Jenks and Jenks was giving him a piggy back ride near the mound running around (it was hillarious).

Than there was one of my personal fav's. We were chanting Big Hurt...Big Hurt and he looked up at all of us and said I love you guys. It was so cool.

It was great meeting all the cool posters that were able to meet the games and it was just an awesome experience. Such a freaking blast.

The other thing I vividly rememeber is jumping about 3 feet in the air out of my seat when they originally called AJ out. I saw Escobar holding the ball high in his bare hand when he tagged AJ with his glove and I was going absolutely nuts (I'm usually rather quiet at a game) and I was so happy when they made the right call.

Than when Crede came through and Rowand was rounding 3rd I was going nuts and when I saw the throw and knew it was offline I jumped 3 feet in the air again (and for those that don't know me, I got white man hops so the adrenaline is what caused that jumpage).

So so fun. I'm so proud of these team and how great is this for all us diehard fans.

I'm happy for you more than most, Jas.

You worked so hard getting this site together and now, years later you get rewarded with seeing the Sox win the pennant in your own backyard.

Here's to you Chisoxfn!

:cheers

My dad is 62 and was 16 when the Sox last made the series and he never shuts up about how his best buddy was a Sox fan and told him the Sox were gonna stomp on his Dodgers.

I'm hoping this time we can get those 4 extra wins!!!!

One last thing...we finally leave the stadium...1st thing we see when we leave the gates is a huge lightning bolt streaking across the California sky. I had totally forgot it was raining cause I was so jacked up.

Its now totally pouring right now (at least where I am).
