If this series had gone 7 games and they lost in a very close run series, they might have had a point.

 

But seriously...in 5 games, none of our starting pitchers gave up more than 3 runs. The Angels hit .175. Change 1 or 2 calls...and we win it in 6. Change the strike zone a bit in game 1, and we win it in 4.

Going in, I would much rather the Sox have faced the Yankees. I thought the Angels played us tough in the regular season and that we were in for a real fight. What an embarrassment for the Angels it turned out to be! The first two games were exciting. But after that, the Angels looked like they hardly deserved to be on the same playing field as the White Sox– and knew it.
