Texsox
Down to their last strike and battled back. That was a huge homerun. It is a little deceiving with that short wall in left, but it hit waaaaaaay up the wall and seemed to still be rising. Lidge will have nightmares about that one. Punch and Judy Garland
I know this may be overstating things, but you may never recover from something like that if you are Brad Lidge. See-BK Kim
AnthraxFan93
That would have been on the Ryan IF he hit it at the Cell.. That was crushed

See-BK Kim Kim also was at a point the highest he could hit was 80. If that happens to lidge too then maybe he will be like kim... otherwise i don't see it. If STL goes back home and wins the next 2 games...Lidge will be a mental wreck ala Byung-Hyun Kim. edit: LOL...Punch and Judy beat me to the...errr.."punch" with the BH Kim comparison. witesoxfan
Lidge threw the fattest pitch he's thrown in the postseason at the wrong time to the wrong person. One f***up can cost your team a game, a series, a chance at a World Series, with you perhaps forever going into lore being not known for how filthy your stuff was and how good you were, but for making one bad pitch. ONE. How cruel this game? Succeed about 99% of the time, and the 1% can cost you huge if you do it at the wrong time.

DBAHO
One of buddies down here is a big Cards fan. I told him tonight that he was lucky to have Albert Pujols. Very lucky. He laughed pretty hard at that.

This Cubbie troll at my job says THIS, and is dead serious when he says it: "I wouldn't trade Kerry Wood for Albert Pujols because.................." ( I have to break in here to repeat that he is DEAD SERIOUS when he says this, and he has told me this on at least 10 occasions - enjoy the irony, let's continue: ) ".........PUJOLS GETS HURT ALL THE TIME!!!!!!" Ahhhhhhhh, the mindless bliss of the Cubbie Junkie!!!! What I find funny about it is that Wood had atleast 2 DL stints that I can recall off the top of my head this past season...almost positive about that. Pujols missed 1 game. So Wood DL stints > Pujols's missed games Edited October 18, 2005 by witesoxfan
