RibbieRubarb
I have some questions: Will our hitters study video of Houston pitchers? Will our pitcher go over scouting reports on Houston hitters? Because if they don't that could be a huge advantage to Houston! LosMediasBlancas
QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Oct 21, 2005 -> 11:33 AM) I have some questions: Will our hitters study video of Houston pitchers? No No and No In the future, please only ask questions that only members of Sox Talk have the answers to. Make no attempts to generate conversation. Jesus Christ this a discussion board. Thank you. hammerhead johnson
QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Oct 21, 2005 -> 04:27 PM) I can only speak for myself, but sometimes the 'f***in retarded' questions are rhetorical and a means to start up a conversation. I bet 90% of the questions on this board can be answered by a yes or no. Let's start doing that and see what's really 'f***in retarded'. In a lot of cases, that's fine. If it gets people talking about something meaningful, I am all for it.

The Critic
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 21, 2005 -> 10:22 AM) Jon's our only starter that doesn't look lost up there, Cliff is the best hitter on the team this year so I'm sure he'll be used as a pinch hitter sometime this series. AND be next in line to play short....

Kid Gleason
QUOTE(Texsox @ Oct 21, 2005 -> 11:06 AM) Of all the things that Sox fans do, welcoming new people and patiently answering their questions, is my favorite. Again...there is my love for you. Yeah, I was watching this and wondering how the poor new fella was feeling. I've been on that end of being a "newbie" and it sucks. Just answer the question and don't make the person feel like an idiot. If it was a LONG term poster, make 'em feel dumb, fine. But a new guy asking a question, just answer it or move on. Too tough to do?

Too tough to do? Of course Cub fans would be sitting around wondering if their pitchers are practicing not batting
