DonkeyKongerko
QUOTE(Antonio Osuna @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 10:01 PM) Again...what happened with Dye? Dye tried to dodge an inside 3-2 fastball and it grazed the back of his bat. It was hard to tell and the ump thought it hit Dye's arm and gave him first base. RME JICO
QUOTE(Felix @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 10:00 PM) yea.. like last night, with Bagwell.. It was a ball anyway, so that still does not lead to PK's Grand Slam. Get Konerko out and there is no issue.

RME JICO
QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 10:04 PM) Well, as you know, it wouldn't have been a ball due to the foul strike. I know, but then JD gets another pitch > then walks anyway. They could have made a pitching change but they didn't want Konerko to pull a Pujols on Lidge again. Texsox
This post season will always and forever be known for poor umpiring.
