Sox make World Series history

• "The most dramatic moments of Game 1 came in the top of the eighth inning when, with runners on first and third and none out, Neal Cotts fanned Morgan Ensberg and Mike Lamb and then Bobby Jenks came on to strike out Jeff Bagwell.

It was the first time in World Series history that three consecutive batters had struck out in the seventh inning or later with the potential tying run in scoring position"

WOW, I hate facts like these. Reminds me of a dumb one on sportscenter a while back.Went along the lines of this, the bengals are the first team to score 3 or more points in games under 40 degrees in 4 straight game in the firstquarter. These little facts/records pizz me off OK?No offense to you.

This fact isnt a dumb one though, it shows how the Sox pitchers can step it up in the crunch time, instead of falling apart.

And I thought I had wacky pet-peeves. LOL!!! This is typical Baseball "factoid" stuff. I always took it that we as baseball fans just loved these silly little stats. :huh
