GoRowand33
After The world series, 10,000 people must of bought season tickets just to see the world series and that means improved attendence of course lets focus on winning this year first though
The Critic
Gotta be less than 8,000. No one likes the Sox or their "ballmall". And the neighborhood is dangerous, full of scary people.

chisox72
I wasn't about to buy a full-season just for the world series, as much as I would have liked to. But, I did get permission from my wife today to buy the double play package for next season!!! So, I will be dealing with that tomorrow!!! It was my reward for not paying some scalper an insane amount of money.

bmags
whats the double play package? i was thinking about a 14 gamer to split with my brothers next summer
chisox72
The double play package is all of the saturday/sunday games, plus 1 game from the opening series. Its 27 games in total. Not a bad price, and good for those of us who travel during the week and wouldn't get to go on too many weeknights. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...split_plans.jsp

TLAK
QUOTE(bmags @ Oct 24, 2005 -> 06:38 PM) i agree, plus the upper deck is too steep [begin seriousness] Funny what a big difference it makes when there are a lot of people up there. On empty nights last year, I used to go way up above the posts to sneak a smoke and I really did feel the vertigo. I sat up there all game during the ALCS and didn't feel it at all, it felt like being in a balcony at a movie house. [End seriousness] We now return to normal programming. southsideirish71
Reinsdorf was on Norths show this morning. He said the season ticket base this year was around 11k. That he believes it will be around 15k for next year. In 83 we had like 8k, and it had a high in the early 90's of more than 18k.

tonyho7476
I still haven't ordered season tix...since a) they have been easy to get and B) I have a ticket connection that gets me great seats whenever I want. I'd love to get an 81 game package...and go to like 30...but I'd want to split it with someone and I haven't found the right people. So I'll just keep doing what I'm doing...and I'll still get playoff tix. Yeah.
