The Ginger Kid
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Oct 25, 2005 -> 11:37 PM) I can't believe all of these players stepping up at different times and being the heroes. I NEED A PICTURE OF BLUM WITH HIS HAIR ALL f***ED UP AFTER THE HOMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought it was just a weird hair moment from his helmet...but it's not!! He's wearing it like that now! The dude's a freak, I love it! He had jet black hair with white stripes when he was traded to Houston from Montreal.

SSH2005
and too think i hated the Geoff Blum trade <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Who would have thought that trading for Geoff freaking Blum would end up being more important than trading for Griffey? Heads22
Blum may be a Ryan Cabrera lookalike, but I love the fact that we had all these posters saying "We visited the trading deadline and all we got was this lousy Geoff Blum" Man, anything KW has touched has turned to platinum. The Critic
I have to share this, it's too funny. The family went to my buddy's house to watch the game, but we had to leave in the 9th because my daughter has school today. So we put her to bed and watch the game - my wife goes to sleep after the top of the 13th. She tried to hang, but she just couldn't take it. So Blummer homers and I wake her up to tell her what happened. ( I have to admit/remind you here that she is a Cub fan at heart, but she's really happy for me and has gotten excited about the Sox playoff success ) She says to me, and I quote: "Who the hell is Geoff Blum???" I answered "He's my new hero!!!"

Yep looks like all of those posts saying "This offense isn't good enough to win a world series" just after the deadline when we didn't get Griffey were for naught huh? I think a lot of us are eating a little bit of crow this day. I ain't even gonna front. I've doubted this team a few times. But man, what a run. I'm mentally blown.
