RouletteJunkie
I'm just curious what people know about the 18" statue of John Wayne that Jerry Reinsdorf has been carting around to the games and propping up in front of a television at his home and now apparently in his office for security reasons. I'm not foolish enough to think that it really has anything to do with the Sox success this year, but . . . Jerry has used this same statue to "bring luck to the Bulls" during a season slump during the Jordan era and it turned the season around leading right up to a NBA Champions and now with the Sox being on one win away, it would seem that it has happened again. What are your thoughts? Jerry Reinsdorf appeared on WGN news the night of game one with Houston showing the statue and they have been numerous articles in the press local and nationwide about the statue and it tie to the Sox run for a championship season. I've attached a picture for the curious . . . Edited October 26, 2005 by RouletteJunkie
