DBAHO Posted October 26, 2005 Share Posted October 26, 2005 Lost in all of the plaudits that have been going Joe Crede and Paul Konerko's way, has been Juan Uribe's impact in the #9 hole. He had a strong finish to the season, and he's carried on with that momentum throughout the playoffs. Even though last night wasn't the best for him at all with those 2 errors in the field, he's got splits of .316/.395/.526 and that was after a 1 for 6 performance last night. I wasn't a very big fan of his when he booted that grounder, though....and then he did that "downward snap" thing with his glove on the popup..... Kyyle23 Posted October 26, 2005 Share Posted October 26, 2005 He has been incredibly patient at the plate for the past month and a half, but you can tell he is getting away from his timing leg kick. he is starting to become susceptible to the low and outside breaking balls again. There's really no reason why we couldn't. Except of course Frank coming off the DL and giving us 26 guys.
